Rolls-Royce
The Rolls-Royce is a British luxury car and later aircraft engine company founded in 1904 in Manchester, United Kingdom by the partnership of Charles Rolls and Henry Royce. Aeromotors were then only part of the activities of GE and UTC as large industrial groups. In addition, its turbines powered the naval vessels of 25 different countries. More than 175 industrial customers have operated Rolls-Royce gas turbines for power generation, gas and oil pumping and other industrial purposes. Its single most important customer was the UK government.

In the previous five years, around 70 per cent of production went outside the UK. The legendary maker of some of the finest luxury cars you can buy has had a reputation for exemplary engineering since its introduction in 1906. While the vehicles are still made in England, Rolls-Royce today actually owns BMW. The most expensive Rolls-Royce is the Phantom, there is also an SUV, the Cullinan.
