Fisker

Fisker Inc. is an American electric car manufacturer, founded by Henrik Fisker and his wife Gita Gupta-Fisker. Launched in 2016, Fisker Inc., based in Southern California. Fisker Automotive was created just a few years later, and eventually, the 2012 Fisker Karma produced a plug-in hybrid sports car that was available at a time when electrification was almost synonymous only with unpleasant econoboxes. Soon after, Fisker Automotive opened, and its assets were sold to a Chinese conglomerate, resulting in the company being reorganized as Karma Automotive.

Fisker has focused on creating hybrid electric vehicles with luxury plug-ins. Fisker Karma is a plug-in hybrid sports car that was available at a time when electrification was almost synonymous only with unpleasant econoboxes. Ocean Fisker is a fully electric SUV. Fisker is focusing on solid-state battery technology, which provides smaller battery packs and significantly faster charging times that have a larger range than vehicles that use lithium-ion batteries.
