GMC
GMC, formerly the General Motors Truck Company or GMC Truck & Coach Division, is a division of the American automaker General Motors that focuses primarily on trucks and commercial vehicles. GMC currently manufactures SUVs, pickup trucks, pickup trucks, and light-duty trucks that cater to a premium-based market. While GMC’s vehicles are mechanically similar to related Chevrolet products, they are typically distinguished by unique features, trim levels, and minor styling changes.
The automaker’s full-size pickups and SUVs are the most attractive offerings in the assortment. GMC’s models are essentially rebranded Chevrolets but typically cost a little more with the unique styling and additional features that set them apart. The full-size Sierra 1500 pickup truck is available in light and heavy-duty forms and is GMC’s bread and butter. The GMC Canyon is available as a smaller truck option. GMC’s SUVs range from the GMC Terrain compact crossover, GMC Acadia mid-size to the full-size GMC Yukon, and the GMC Yukon XL.
