The Jeep is an American car brand that now belongs to the multinational Stellantis Corporation. Jeep has been part of Chrysler, Chrysler acquired the Jeep brand along with its remaining assets from its previous owner, American Motors Corporation. After the merger of Chrysler and Daimler-Benz, the Jeep fell under the umbrella of DaimlerChrysler. As a result of this collaboration, several new models emerged, such as Liberty and Compass, but none of them achieved major commercial success.
