Hyundai, Hyundai Motor Company, commonly abbreviated as Hyundai Motors and commonly known as Hyundai, is a South Korean multinational automotive manufacturer headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Hyundai Motor Company was founded in 1967. Hyundai cars and SUVs provide a high level of content at an affordable price and are currently backed by one of the industry’s longest warranties. At the time, the Korean government believed it made more sense than producing the vehicles domestically and had given its opinion. The manufacturer’s first car designed and built in Korea was the compact Pony.
Today’s Hyundai lineup is an indication of Hyundai’s complete comeback. Hyundai has a vehicle for just about every segment, including the budget Accent subcompact, the popular Elantra compact, the mid-size Sonata sedan, the sporty Genesis, the Hyundai Veloster coupe, and a few stylish SUVs. Hyundai has also expanded into the entry-level and premium luxury sedan markets with the Genesis and Equus sedans. The Hyundai Sonata mid-size sedan takes everything to the next level, with bold styling and an impressive array of tech features. There’s plenty of variety in the lineup as well, with vehicles including the fuel-sipping Ioniq and the sporty and quirky Veloster N.
