Peugeot
The Peugeot is a French car brand owned by Stellantis. The family business that predates today’s Peugeot companies was founded in 1810 with a steel foundry that soon began producing hand tools and kitchen equipment and then bicycles. British cars were originally prepared by Peugeot Sport; team from Peugeot’s British factory in Coventry under team manager Mick Linford in 1996 with Total sponsorship.
The Peugeot company and family originate from Sochaux. Peugeot maintains a large production plant and a Peugeot museum there. In February 2014, shareholders agreed to a recapitalization plan for the PSA Group, in which Dongfeng Motors and the French government each bought a 14% stake in the company.
